CROSS COUNTRY SKIING
Trails typically open after Christmas, depending on the amount of snow. To check on conditions, please call the pro shop at 218-753-8917.
Trails are FREE and open seven days a week. They are regularly groomed when needed except on Saturdays and Sundays. All cross country skiing is assumed at your own risk.
SNOWSHOEING
Hike along a trail or blaze your own path across Lake Vermilion.
SNOWMOBILING
Thank you to the volunteer efforts of the Vermilion Prenguin Snowmobile Club and other area snowmobile clubs. We have endless miles of well-groomed snowmobile trails in addition to the well-mapped routes on Lake Vermilion right out our front doors.
ICE FISHING
Lake Vermilion offers great winter fishing for species like Walleye, Norther Pike, Crappie or Blue Gill.
